Meet the Panelists:

Abby Bio: Abby Stahl is a postdoctoral scholar in Jennifer Doudna’s laboratory at UC Berkeley. Abby earned her PhD from the Cellular and Molecular Pathology program within the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2019.

 

Ravi Bio: Ravi graduated from Pitt in 2019 from the Molecular Pharmacology graduate program. There he was interested in understanding mechanisms of drug resistance using unbiased genomic approaches and saturation mutagenesis paired with chemical genetic approaches. After graduate school Ravi became the Health Data Lead at Insight Data Science where he helped hundreds of PhDs and Postdocs transition into industry careers as data scientists and computational biologists. Ravi is now a computational scientist at Myriad Genetics where he is involved with developing software for the genetic testing products that Myriad offers.

 

Song-my: Song-My Hoang completed her PhD in Molecular Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh. Song-My is currently a Field Application Scientist at LUMICKS, a biotech focused on measuring binding avidity between immune and target cancer cells to accelerate the development of immunotherapeutic strategies. She travels to leading biotech, pharma, and academic institutions to conduct scientific demonstrations and trainings, as well as build long-term relationships with LUMICKS’ customers. Her role intersects with R&D, sales, product management, and marketing.
