The BGSA Diversity & Inclusion Committee will be hosting a Diversity in Science Panel Discussion on Thursday, December 1st from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Our panelists will discuss several issues that affect underrepresented minorities in graduate school and the workforce in science. The panel will cover important topics such as stereotype threats, imposter syndrome, mental and learning issues, microaggression, and lack of belonging. • Latav Dudley - Engineer working in the Data Management Group at Google Cloud
• Dr. Randi Congleton - Assistant Vice Chancellor for Diversity & Inclusion at Pitt
• Shea Heilman - Graduate student in Jeff Gross's lab and member of the LGBT and learning divergent communities
• Dr. Felix Aggor - Post-doc at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
